Digital Desk: Despite Indian Railways' efforts, travellers on the Garib Rath to Rajdhani Express face the problem of uncleanliness and unhygienic due to the unsanitary conditions of the coach. In addition to Twitter, people are also complaining to the Indian Railways via the Rail Madad app about the filthy condition of train coaches. In Saharsa-Amritsar Garib Rath, there were at least 81 complaints of filth in December alone. 

Frustrated Over Dirty Coaches & Toilets, Passengers Hold Up Super-Fast  Train For Over An Hour To Get Them Cleaned

The Rail Madad app reports that the Saharsa-Amritsar Garib Rath train is the dirtiest, according to complaints (Most Dirty Trains in India). This train runs from the Punjabi city of Amritsar to the Bihari district of Saharsa. On this route, this train is packed full on both sides. In this train, there have been 81 complaints about poor sanitation. People have complained about the dirty coach, bathroom, and sink cabin.

Following this, 64 complaints were made against the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi-Bandra Swaraj Express train, 61 against the Bandra-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Swaraj Express train, and 57 against the Ferozepur-Agartala Tripura Sundari Express train. Passengers have expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of these trains.

Complaints Against NFR For Unhygienic Coaches Increase

While 35 complaints about dirt were made on the New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express train, 50 were made on the Amritsar Clone Special train, 40 on the Ajmer-Jammu Tawi Puja Express train, and 52 on the Anand Vihar-Jogbani Seemanchal Express train traveling from Delhi to Bihar.

Railways received 1079 complaints about these ten trains in a single month, including complaints about filthy conditions, a lack of water, dirty blankets and sheets, and damaged seats.
