Owaisi expressed his belief that this historic moment is inevitable, even if he may not personally witness it...

Digital Desk: Asaduddin Owaisi, leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), has made a bold prediction that India will soon witness a Muslim woman wearing a hijab ascend to the position of Prime Minister. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Owaisi expressed his belief that this historic moment is inevitable, even if he may not personally witness it.

"Inshallah, it will be in the form of a woman wearing a hijab and heading this great nation. The time will come. Maybe I will not be alive to see that day, but it will happen inshallah,Owaisi stated, emphasizing his optimism for the future of Indian politics.

Owaisi, a seasoned four-time Member of Parliament, is currently campaigning for re-election in the Hyderabad constituency during the upcoming fourth phase of elections. His party's coalition, comprising Muslims, backward classes, and other minority groups, reflects his commitment to diverse representation in politics.

Reflecting on the ongoing election phases, Owaisi highlighted voter concerns about unemployment and rising prices, attributing the discontent to the BJP government's policies.

Regarding Prime Minister Modi's remarks about Muslims, Owaisi criticized them as indicative of a deep-seated bias. He asserted that such comments perpetuate a narrative of hate, which aligns with the core ideology of Hindutva.

Owaisi denounced Modi's rhetoric, particularly regarding unfounded claims about Muslim demographics, as divisive and based on falsehoods. He emphasized the importance of combating such narratives and fostering inclusivity in Indian society.

As India navigates its political landscape, Owaisi's vision for a diverse and inclusive leadership offers a glimpse into the evolving dynamics of Indian democracy.
