Sargam Koushal is a Jammu-born Indian model and teacher. She quickly discovered her love after getting married in 2018 and decided to participate in beauty pageants.

By a jury panel made up of former Mrs. World Aditi Govitrikar, Soha Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Mohammad Azharuddin, and fashion designer Masumi Mewawalla, Koushal was named Mrs. India World 2022.
Initiated in 1984, Mrs World is the first contest exclusively for married women. Mrs. America served as the inspiration for the pageant's very idea. The pageant was known as Mrs Woman of the World from 1984 to 1987; Mrs World became its official name in 1988. The popularity of Mrs. World over the years grew exponentially, making it the largest marital pageant in the world with 80 different film directors.
