Digital Desk: Team India's squad for Champions Trophy 2025 was announced by captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar in a press conference on Saturday. Shubman Gill was named the new vice-captain for the Indian side, succeeding Hardik Pandya.

KL Rahul and Rishab Pant were selected as wicket-keeper batsmen over Sanju Samson. While Kuldeep Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Mohammed Shami returned to the squad. Another big name, pacer Mohammed Siraj could not manage to find a place in the squad.

Four spinners, chosen for the major ICC tournament were Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Washington Sundar.
