Digital desk: According to data from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy, India's unemployment rate rose to 8% in November, the most in three months (CMIE).

"The urban unemployment rate increased to 8.96% in November from 7.21% in the preceding month, while the rural jobless rate decreased to 7.55% from 8.04%, " figures cited by news agency Reuters reported.
