Digital Desk: The post-mortem report of Indrani Tahbildar, the Kisan Morcha leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Assam, has finally arrived, disclosing horrifying revelations about her death.

Indrani Tahbildar's postmortem report notably stated that she took 80 sleeping pills prior to her death.

It should be remembered that her leaked personal photos with Anurag Chaliha, the key culprit in her death case, caused her mental breakdown.

She had fallen asleep after taking the sleeping pills, never to wake up again.

Meanwhile, Anurag Chaliha, the key accused in the death of Indrani Tahbildar, stated on Wednesday that he has been made a political scapegoat and that all accusations levelled against him are baseless.

This comes after he was scheduled to be transported to central jail today following his police arrest in connection with the killing of Indrani Tahbildar, Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kisan Morcha in Assam.

According to sources, the investigating team sought as many as three job applicants who reportedly paid money to secure positions, another case that has been found linked with Indrani Tahbildar's death as inquiries progressed.

According to reports, the police will take the statements of the three aspirants from Guwahati and Nalbari.

Meanwhile, Anurag Chaliha told reporters, "I have been made a political scapegoat. This is all incorrect. I have not taken any money in exchange for pledging to provide work."

"With time, everything will come to the light," Anurag Chaliha remarked.
