With his best score for the season 2022, the right-handed batter guided the franchise to an 8-wicket victory over GT to keep them in the playoffs hunt.

Digital Desk: The ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was not going that well for the Royal challenger Bangalore's (RCB) former captain Virat Kohli but in yesterday's (May 19) match against the Gujrat Titans (GT), the 'King Kohli' roars back to his form with a superb knock of 73 off 54 balls.

With his best score for the season 2022, the right-handed batter guided the franchise to an 8-wicket victory over GT to keep them in the playoffs hunt.

It was Kohli's second fifty of the season to put in a Player of the Match Performance in the chase of 169 runs. However, RCB's playoffs qualification isn't entirely sealed in a case where the franchise does go through, but the fact that Virat's back in form is truly a blessing.

Meanwhile, currently, the team is at the 4th number on the points table with 16 points, and whether the team will make it to the playoffs or not will be decided after the match of DC Vs MI, scheduled to be played on May 21.

It may be mentioned that Gujrat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have already qualified for the playoffs with the highest points, 20 and 18, respectively.
