Lasith Malinga makes a return to the Indian Premier League in a new role. Digital Desk:  LasithMalinga, who was a key figure for the Mumbai Indians during his playing career, has been hired as fast bowling coach by Rajasthan Royals for the upcoming IPL season. The Royals shared the news on their Twitter account. "*kisses the ball* Lasith Malinga. IPL. Pink," wrote Royals, sharing a graphic portraying Malinga as the team's fast-bowling coach It is believed that Malinga has taken 170 wickets in 122 matches, making him the highest wicket-taker in IPL history. The 38-year-old only represented one team in the tournament, Mumbai, in Malinga's case. On March 29, Rajasthan Royals will make their IPL 2022 debut against Sunrisers Hyderabad. They will be led by Sanju Samson, one of three players retained ahead of the mega auction in February (the others were Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal).
