Digital desk: Guwahati is all set to host two matches in May for the Rajasthan Royals squad, as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 fever is expected to take over fans for the next two months. 

The Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati successfully staged two Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in 2023, featuring the Rajasthan Royals against the Punjab Kings and the Delhi Capitals.

The Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals will take on the Rajasthan Royals in the third and fourth week of May in Guwahati this year as well. 

The Rajasthan Royals' owner, Royal Multisport, says that its executive chairman, Ranjit Barthakur, has confirmed this development.

The opening game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between the Chennai Super Kings and Bangalore Royal Challengers is scheduled for Friday, March 22 in Chennai.
