Guwahati: Three months passed away, but till now, the Assam police failed to arrest the fugitive fraudster Mridupaban Neog. Earlier, to arrest him, the police launched ‘Mridu Mission,’ but sadly, they failed to track down the accused swindler.

Now, the fraudster has knocked on the doors of the Gauhati High Court seeking bail, and the court is likely to hear Mridupaban’s bail plea soon. What will be the court decision? We don’t want to comment on it.

However, the people of Assam were surprised by the inefficiency of the Assam police that, despite launching the mission, they failed to arrest the fraudster in these three months.

The inefficiency of the Assam police has raised many questions among the masses.

Is it due to the weak administrative structure of the police? Or Is it due to the involvement of Mridupaban with high profile officers? that till now, they failed to arrest him.

After the formation of the Government, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that no criminal would be spared off by the police and the administration would be tough against them. Undoubtedly, the Government has followed what they said, but the same doesn’t go in the case of Mridupaban Neog. The Assam police refused to take action even after registering a case against the fraudster and tracking his present address.

Under whose power, Mridupawan is sheltering? Under whose blessings he is under the open sky till now? It’s all under curiosity and Assam people want to know.

Notably, on September 24, Mridupaban absconded from his Kahilipara residence in front of the police. How could he run away from a window when the police force had surrounded him? Was he was alerted before by someone? or something more serious, which remains now under question.

During the search operation in Mridupaban house, the police found many objectionable documents, including 3.2 pistol, ammunitions, APS and IPS badge, foreign currencies, three stamp pads of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India plate inscribing Ashok Pillar, laptop and gold chain.

Reportedly, Mridupaban used to introduce himself as an official of the Union Home Ministry and used to assist by a group of police officials. Who provides Government’s high-tech security to Mridupawan Neog? Will the high-profile officer who provided him with high-tech security face a departmental probe?

Meanwhile, Anand Mishra, Superintendent of Police, Nagaon, who always beats the drum of ending crime in the district, seems to remain silent on the topic of Mridupaban Neog.

Mridupaban is accused of blackmailing women, money laundering and women trafficking, but then also why is Assam police still silent? It remains a big question.

Notably, after the Mridupaban case came to light, it came to news that he has a connection with many leaders of BJP and RSS. Now the question arises that is it because of political power, the fraudster is able to abscond till now?

Meanwhile, we want to clarify that having photographs with high-profile leaders doesn’t mean that they have any relation with Mridupaban.

However, the failure of the Assam police to arrest the fraudster has cast doubt on the BJP leader’s closeness with Mridupaban.

The question now is whether, due to political power, he is able to abscond till now? Is it to save Mridupaban the Assam police is being controlled by ‘invisible’ power?

On October 9, the police chief informed the media that they traced Mridupaban Neog’s location, who is in Madhya Pradesh.

However, even after tracing his location, why the Assam police are incapable of arresting him?

The Government’s discriminatory behavior in dealing with the Mridupaban Neog case now remains a mystery. Is really the fraudster is backed by political power?
