Vakani, who plays Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, have been
concerned by new allegations that she has throat cancer.
Some news organizations recently reported that the actress has been found to have throat cancer. In addition, due to the unusual voice Disha uses for her television character Dayaben, reports have claimed that she had throat cancer. Jethalal Dilip Joshi, however, has now denied the rumours.
"I have been getting calls nonstop since the morning. Every now and then, strange news surfaces. I don't believe it needs to be promoted. I'd only add that everything being said is a rumour. Don't give them any thought", Dilip Joshi added.
However all the assumptions of the actress having throat cancer are rumours as Disha Vakani's brother Mayur Vakani clarified that the news are just rumours that spreads every now and then and fans need not worry.
