Digital Desk: Teaser of action-entertainer ‘Jawan’ starring superstar Shah Rukh
Khan has been released today. The film marks SRK's maiden project with Tamil filmmaker Atlee, known for directing blockbuster movies Raja Rani, Their, Mersal and Bigil.
Jawan, which will be released across
India, promises to be a spectacular event film featuring high-octane action
sequences and a cast of Indian cinema's best actors. Shah Rukh Khan took Twitter
to announce the film's title and release date, along with a one-minute,
30-second teaser trailer that shows him wounded and wrapped in bandages.
He twitted, “An action-packed 2023!!
Bringing #Jawan to you, an explosive entertainer in cinemas 2nd June 2023. In
Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. @gaurikhan @Atlee_dir
@RedChilliesEnt.”
Jawan is
a universal story that transcends languages and countries, according to the
56-year-old actor, whose last theatrical release was the 2018 picture Zero.
"Atlee
deserves credit for creating this unique film, which has also been a terrific
experience for me as a fan of action movies!" In a statement, Khan said,
"The teaser is simply the tip of the iceberg and gives a taste into what's
to come."
