 Digital Desk:  Injured on Sunday while participating in a counter terrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir, a police constable passed away from his wounds on Monday. Constable Sarfaraz Ahmad, a resident of the Ramban district's Batote neighbourhood, was hurt during the operation that happened in Srinagar's Nowhatta neighbourhood.

 

The Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, "We pay rich tribute to the martyr for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty."

 Ahmad was taken to the hospital right away for treatment after becoming hurt during the incident. A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was also hurt during the operation.
