Digital Desk: Security forces have initiated an operation to neutralise two terrorists who targeted three residences in the Dangri area after a terror incident in Rajouri left four persons dead and six others injured, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Monday.

Four people were killed and six others were injured in a shooting that happened on Sunday in the Rajouri neighbourhood of Dangri, according to authorities. Two terrorists opened fire on three houses in upper Dangri hamlet that were separated from one another by about 50 metres.

Two injured people were in the meantime flown to Jammu for additional medical care at the Government Medical College Hospital.

"According to the information, two terrorists entered the Upper Dangri region and attacked three homes. There were reportedly four casualties. The search operation is ongoing. Army personnel, police, and members of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have sealed off the area. Soon, we'll attempt to neutralise the two terrorists "said Mukesh Singh, Jammu Zone ADGP (Additional Director General of Police).
