Security forces have been on high alert and are conducting intense search operations since the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 27 people last month.

Authorities have launched a massive manhunt to trap the gunmen of the deadly terror attack.

The major bust came a day after a high-profile joint security review meeting held by Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, VK Birdi.

The meeting was also attended by officers from different security forces, including the Police, Army, Intelligence Agencies, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

The officers of the security forces briefed VK Birdi about the overall security scenario of the state.

On Sunday night, Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) for the 11th consecutive time, which prompted retaliation from the Indian Army.

The Pakistan Army fired across eight forward sectors along the LoC in areas opposite Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajauri, Mendhar, Naushera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor in J&K.
