Digital Desk: The office of President Joe Biden revealed on Thursday that the 79-year-old had tested positive for Covid-19. They said that he was having "minimal symptoms" but will continue to perform his full duties while staying in isolation at the White House.
Biden has started using Pfizer's anti-Covid medication Paxlovid, the White House stated in a statement, adding that he has been completely immunised, twice boosted, and is only showing very minor symptoms.
He will isolate in the White House in accordance with CDC recommendations, and he will continue to properly perform all of his duties during that time.
