Jorhat Youth Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Kolkata; Family Seeks Investigation

Around midnight, his mother received a phone call from an unknown individual, informing her that her son’s body had been found in the jungle

Digital Desk: A 23-year-old youth from Jorhat, identified as Hridoy Tinikuria, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kolkata late Wednesday night. Hridoy was a student of hotel management who belonged to a town called Nagabasti situated near Mission Campus in Jorhat.

According to reports, his body was recovered from a forested area. This happened late at night when his mother received a phone call from an unknown person informing her that the body of her son had been found in the jungle. Later, around 10 PM, the same caller reported that Hridoy had been killed in an accident.

The conflicting nature of the information immediately raised suspicion within the family. Hridoy’s father has since travelled to Kolkata in search of answers.

The family has also asked the police to carefully investigate the incident, as they feel that the story might be more than what they are being presented.
