Digital Desk: Chandmari police have uncovered a new tactic used by bike thieves, leading to the arrest of four suspects.
The thieves operated by initially leaving the targeted bike at a distance, waiting for the owner to abandon it under the assumption that it had already been stolen, before making the move.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Hrishikesh Das, Mithu Roy, Bhargav Das, and Amir Hussain.
Mithu Roy, the alleged mastermind, is said to have planned the thefts.
This gang had been spreading fear and unrest in several areas of Chandmari.
