Digital Desk: The Assam Police sub-inspector (SI) Junmoni Rabha's suspicious death is still being looked into by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials.

The CBI detectives conducted operations at Jakhalabandha on Wednesday and found a cell phone inside Junmoni Rabha's severely damaged S-Presso car.

According to sources, a five-person CBI team visited Jakhalabandha on Thursday as well and tested various vehicle parts that were damaged in the accident.

Notably, the deceased cop’s vehicle is being kept at the Jakhalabandha police station.

According to sources, the CBI also removed the S-Presso car's Engine Control Module (ECM) as part of their investigation. The ECM may provide information about the vehicle's speed at the moment of the incident, based on experts.

Additionally, the CBI has called several police officers to Nagaon for questioning regarding the matter. Runa Neog, another superintendent of police from Lakhimpur, also arrived in Nagaon earlier today.
