Digital Desk: Actor and filmmaker Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, has been arrested at the Mumbai airport on Monday, December 25, as he was reportedly about to depart for Dubai. The arrest is related to a 2016 case, according to Mumbai police.
In a statement shared on his social media handle, KRK wrote, "I am in Mumbai for last one year. And I am attending my all court dates regularly. Today I was going to Dubai for new year. But Mumbai police arrested me at the airport. According to police, I am wanted in a 2016 case. Salman Khan is saying that his film #Tiger3 is flop because of me. If I die in any circumstances in police station or in jail, you all should know that it’s a murder. And you all know, who is responsible! (sic)."
This is not the first time Kamaal R Khan has faced legal troubles. In 2022, he was arrested twice, once for sharing alleged controversial tweets about late actors Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor, and later in September for allegedly sexually assaulting his fitness trainer.
Known for his outspoken criticism of Bollywood and celebrities, KRK has made headlines consistently. On the work front, he is recognized for his roles in Bhojpuri and Hindi films and also participated in Bigg Boss Season 3.
