Washington: After acting as the first woman with presidential power in the US for one hour and 25 minutes on Friday, US Vice President Kamala Harris handed the presidential power to US President Joe Biden, reports said.
As per the White House statement, President Joe Biden resumed his duties at 11.35 am.

Earlier, the presidential power was transferred to Vice President Kamala Harris on a temporary basis as Biden was under anaesthesia for a routine colonoscopy for one hour and 25 minutes.
India origin Harris with its record-breaking series becomes the first US female, first Black and first South Asian President to gain presidential power, although it is for the time being.
