Kamrup (M) district administration to declare 6 wards in Guwahati as containment zone

Guwahati: Keeping in view the rise in number of covid cases in the last few days, Kamrup (M) district administration will be designating areas that will come under containment zones.

At least 6 wards in Guwahati will be declared as containment zones for turning into hotspot for highest number of covid cases. Of the designated areas that will be turned into containment zones,

In Kamrup Metropolitan, ward number 3, 8, 14, 16, 24, 28, 29 and 31 have been spotted as the areas with highest number of covid cases. Maximum number of covid-19 cases has been registered from Beltola, Basistha, fatashil AMbari, Barshapara, Dhirenpara, Kumarpara, AT Road, Machkhowa, Bhootnath, Khanapara, Panjabari, Hatigaon, Ulubari, Rehabari, DGP Complex, Bilpara, Salapara, Pandu, Maligaon, Narengi and Banda.
