The actor-turned-politician was on the UK707 flight operated by Vistara from Mohali International Airport to New Delhi.

Digital Desk: Kangana Ranaut, a BJP politician and Mandi MP, was allegedly slapped by a CISF jawan on Thursday, June 6, at the Chandigarh airport.

Where and when did it occur?

The actor-turned-politician was on the UK707 flight operated by Vistara from Mohali International Airport to New Delhi.

According to reports, LCT Kulwinder Kaur of the CISF unit at Chandigarh airport smacked her as she was boarding the flight following a security check.

Later, while traveling with Ranaut, Mayank Madhur attempted to strike Kaur.

Kangana, the victor of the recently held election from the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency, was en route to Delhi in anticipation of this weekend's anticipated swearing-in of the new Cabinet.

The Bollywood actress arrived at the airport to board a flight to Delhi, according to sources at Mohali International Airport who spoke with News18. She was frisked by CISF lady constable Kulwinder Kaur upon arriving at the SHA area, and she then smacked Ranaut.

Why did the constable from the CISF smack Kangana Ranaut?

According to sources at Mohali International Airport, Kaur struck Kangana for allegedly making a derogatory remark about Punjabi women during the farmers' protest against three farm regulations, claiming that "women of the state participated in the farmers agitation for money."

Kangana declared that she would lodge a grievance with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) located in Delhi.

The BJP Mandi MP’s flight took off at 4:10 pm. Kaur was still present before the commandant of CISF.
