Digital Desk: Renowned south Indian actor Kishore has made it clear that his contentious tweet against the movie "Kantara" and the suspension of his Twitter account have nothing to do with one another.

Actor Kishore, known for the films "Kantara" and "She," said on Twitter that his account had been suspended, and the information quickly went viral. Right-wingers rejoiced at the news, and others offered the actor their support.

Kishore, in the meantime, claimed that his account had been hacked. My opinions are typically posted on Facebook and Instagram. I seldom ever tweet my opinions. Through other social media, people have informed me of the suspension of the Twitter handle.

"When I checked, I found out the account had been suspended on December 20. This was created by hackers. I have no idea what cybercriminals have written on my handle.

He insisted that there was no relationship between his comments on the movie "Kantara" and the account suspension.

Kishore takes an open stance and is also an activist.

There should be faith but not superstition, according to the actor who portrayed a police officer opposite Rishab Shetty in the blockbuster movie Kantara.

Like all good films, he had said, "Kantara" unites people by eliminating caste, religious, and linguistic barriers. Through entertainment, awareness is being raised. The big win will be the worst defeat of humanity, he said, if this film is exploited to promote superstition and divide people by igniting communal passions.

Kishore, who is well-known in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema industries, has been fighting for farmers' rights.
