Officials said that after receiving information about the attack on the Kashmiri Pandit shopkeeper, the Army and police rushed to the spot.


Digital Desk: Terrorists shot and injured a Kashmiri Pandit shopkeeper in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday. The victim, identified as Sonu Kumar Baljee of Chowgam village in Shopian, was injured in his hand and leg. Reportedly, he was taken to an Army hospital in Srinagar, where doctors said he was in stable condition.


Officials said that after receiving information about the attack on the Kashmiri Pandit shopkeeper, the Army and police rushed to the spot.


Notably, this was the day’s third major attack. Previously, one CRPF personnel was killed and another was injured in a militant attack in the Maisuma area. The terrorists opened fire on CRPF personnel in Maisuma, injuring two jawans. The injured person was taken to the SMHS Hospital. However, one was declared dead upon arrival, while the other was being treated.


Moreover, in the early hours, two non-local workers from Bihar were injured in a militant attack in the Pulwama district.
