Digital Desk: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) intends to arrest Health Minister Satyendar Jain. Just ahead of Punjab Assembly Elections 2022, Kejriwal has made this remark. He said, "We have discovered through our sources that the ED is about to arrest Satyendar Jain. So you're welcome to do that. The center had twice explored Jain's properties but came back empty-handed. So if they want to come back, they are welcome." Arvind Kejriwal also claimed that ED's efforts were politically motivated. "Whenever the BJP is close to losing an election, they release their tools. There will be charges and detentions. But, we are not frightened because as you stroll the path of truth, these hurdles will always come up," he added. Claiming their work and truthfulness, Kejriwal further asked the government to have a reality check on them. He added, "The BJP government in the center is welcome to send other agents such as the CBI, Income Tax, and Delhi Police along with ED." I was ambushed, as was Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain. Twenty-one of our MLAs were arrested. The court determined all these matters. In this matter, too, he will be arrested and discharged on bail in 5-10 days." "We are not scared of heading to jail, nor of your charges. We won't complain like Channiji. We're not going to panic… Why is he panicking? Because he committed misconduct and got caught. When the ED raided there, they measured thick wads of banknotes. The people of Punjab were shocked. We're not scared. Why only Satyendar Jain send them to me or the house of Bhagwant Maan (AAP's Punjab CM face)," Kejriwal conveyed. After saying a lot about ED's plan to arrest Jain, Kejriwal did not deliver details on the ED arrest. However, as per sources, ED had noted a case against Jain under the Anti-Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in 2017. The case was based on an FIR filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
