Digital Desk: Kerala got drooled over Christmas Party making it a full tipsy one. During this year's Christmas season, the southern state exceeded its previous record for alcohol sales through the Kerala State Beverages Corporation (Bevco).
In just three days, Bevco stores sold alcohol worth Rs 154.77 crore, setting a new record for festive alcohol consumption.
On Christmas Eve alone, liquor worth Rs 70.73 crore raced off the shelves, which is an enormous rise from Rs 69.55 crore the previous year.
