Digital Desk: A 60-year-old Kozhikode man, named Mammikka who is more well-known in his neighbourhood with his faded lungi and shirt, is making waves on social media with his uber glam makeover.
Mammikka, a daily wage worker, recently completed a promotional photograph for a local corporation while dressed in a suit and posing with an iPad.

Photographer Shareek Vayalil saw this daily wager worker's modelling skills. He had previously uploaded a photo of Mammikka on his social media profile, which went viral due to his resemblance to actor Vinayakan.
When this project came up later, Shareek could only think about Mammikka. Majnas, a makeup artist, did his make-up. The make-up artists were Aashiq Fuad and Shabeeb Vayalil.
The 60 year old daily wage labourer now has an Instagram profile where he posts-old images of himself in ordinary attire as well as the makeover. He is now regarded as a hero in his hometown of Vennakkad, Kodivalli, Kozhikode.
You can see that he previously released a picture of Mammika on his social media profile that looked very similar to actor Vinayakan, and the picture went popular on social media. Even now, the image is driving people insane. Mammika's makeover was done by makeup artist Majnas, and her makeup helpers were Aashiq Fuad and Shabib Vailil. Mammika now has an Instagram profile, where he shares photos of his makeover with his regular attire. At the same time, these images are gaining a lot of traction on social media.
Mammikka is happy with the success and says that he would continue modelling if he gets offers along with his regular job.
