Digital Desk: A land-based dispute erupted in the eastern Jamuna village of Debasthan, leading to a violent clash between two groups.


Several individuals sustained injuries during the altercation. Allegations of forceful land grabbing have been raised against local residents Nazrul, Washim, Shamim, Farij Uddin, and Nazim Uddin.


The accused are alleged to have seized one and a half bighas of land owned by Abdul Motleb.


Reports claimed that the accused broke the fence on Abdul Motleb's property and unlawfully constructed a house on the land.


When efforts were made to prevent this action, a physical altercation ensued.


As a result of the conflict, five members of Abdul Motleb's family were seriously injured and have since been hospitalised for treatment.


The victim's family has filed a complaint regarding the incident at the Debasthan police station.
