Digital Desk: Iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar’s team, in a statement today, said that the singer is showing signs of improvement and is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
One of her close friend stated, “Lata Didi is showing signs of improvement from earlier and is in the ICU under the treatment from a team of doctors led by Dr Pratit Samdani. We are hoping and praying for her to recover quickly and return home.”
Since the iconic singer was admitted in the hospital, several rumors about her health circulated on the social media platform. A few days ago, reports were circulated on social media that Lata Mangeshkar’s health has deteriorated in the hospital.
Following that, her team issued a statement claiming that she is stable and is undergoing treatment in the Breach Candy hospital.
“Very sad to see how fake news is circulating about Lata Mangeshkar’s health. We confirm that Lata Didi’s health is stable now and undergoing treatment at the hospital. Please, everyone prays for her quick recovery.” the statement stated.
Lata Mangeshkar was hospitalized in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 for treatment after testing positive for Covid-19 and pneumonia. Since after the news of her health condition, fans and well-wishers from the film industry took to social media platforms to wish her fast recovery.
