Barman was taken to Pan Bazar Police Station after his arrival under high security

Digital Desk: Dipankar Barman the key accused of DB Stock Scam was arrested in Goa on Sunday, 27th October by an Assam Police team led by IAS Amit Mahato of the Pan Bazar Division. They caught him with gold and cash worth Rs. 27 lakhs.

Following the arrest he was kept under police custody. On 29th October, Mr. Barman was set to arrive at Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at 7:40 pm  after boarding the Indigo flight number 6E 6882 with a Police team from Hyderabad.

Barman was taken to Pan Bazar Police Station after his arrival under high security. He is expected to be kept there overnight for investigation. According to sources, the crime department and police would interrogate him based on the DB stock scam.

Mr. Barman will be produced before the court on 30th October, Wednesday to further investigate the case.
