Trinamool president Mamata Banerjee also ruled out an alliance with the Congress in West Bengal, hours before the AAP's announcement.

Digital Desk: The opposition alliance in India faces consecutive defeats as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announces that it will run for every Lok Sabha seat in Punjab. Trinamool president Mamata Banerjee also ruled out an alliance with the Congress in West Bengal, hours before the AAP's announcement.

"For Punjab's 13 Lok Sabha seats, the Aam Aadmi Party has selected 40 candidates for consideration. Before selecting candidates, we are having a survey completed," Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated today.

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, stated earlier today, "Let the Congress fight 300 seats on its own." Together, the regional parties can challenge the others. But we will not put up with any meddling from them (Congress).
