Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi exercised his electoral right on Tuesday at a polling booth in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency as Gujarat witnessed single-phase voting for 25 seats. Arriving promptly at the Nishan Public School in Ahmedabad after polls opened at 7 am, PM Modi cast his vote alongside Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is contesting to retain the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.

Addressing the media after voting, PM Modi emphasized the significance of voter participation, likening it to the act of 'Daan' or donation. He urged citizens to cast their votes diligently, highlighting that there are still four rounds of voting remaining in the ongoing Lok Sabha Election 2024.

PM Modi commended India's election process as exemplary for democracies worldwide, advocating for academic scrutiny and comparison of electoral practices across the globe. He urged citizens to embrace the democratic spirit and participate actively in the electoral process.

Expressing concern for the health of media persons covering the elections, PM Modi advised them to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. His words underscored the importance of safeguarding the well-being of those involved in the democratic process.

PM Modi's participation in the voting process not only symbolizes his commitment to democracy but also serves as a call to action for citizens to exercise their electoral rights responsibly. As the electoral journey continues, his words resonate as a reminder of the foundational principles of democracy and civic duty.
