Earlier this year, the price of 19-kg commercial LPG was increased by Rs 250 per cylinder.


Digital Desk: Commercial LPG cylinders (19 kg) will be cheaper by Rs 135 from June 1, 2022. On May 1, 2022, the prices were increased by Rs 100.


The 19 kg cylinder will cost Rs 2219 instead of Rs 2354 in Delhi and Rs 2171.50 instead of Rs 2306 in Mumbai, and it's a huge relief as the commercial cooking gas price drop.


In other metro cities, the pricing will alter as well: in Kolkata, it will cost Rs 2322 instead of Rs 2454, and in Chennai, it will cost Rs 2373 instead of Rs 2507.


On April 1, the price of 19-kg commercial LPG was increased by Rs 250 per cylinder, and on March 1, 2022, the price was increased by Rs 105 per cylinder.


Meanwhile, oil marketing corporations such as Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, and Bharat Petroleum Corporation are planning around 5,000 LPG panchayats across the country to commemorate Ujjwala Diwas today.


Aside from sharing expertise targeted at ensuring the safe and long-term use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), oil marketing businesses will work to increase client enrolment.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is a popular social inclusion initiative. Every BPL household receives a free LPG connection under the scheme.
