Digital Desk: The International Day of Nonviolence was recognized by the UN on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Gandhiji was a distinguished guest during the discussion on this specific event. The Indian delegation was present at the event and displayed a Gandhi hologram. It seems that Mahatma Gandhi himself was present at the meeting.

The voiceover was given by Gandhi's hologram. It read, "Literacy is not the finish or the beginning of education; a child or individual may only bring out their greatest features through the educational system." Gandhi promised that spiritual growth would be emphasized in the educational system.

India's permanent representative to the UN Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, shared the news on Twitter along with a picture of Gandhi's hologram at the UN. She wrote, "Join us today for the 5th Ahinsa/#NonViolence Lecture in Commemoration of #InternationalDayOfNonviolence featuring a life-size hologram of #MahatmaGandhi".
