Digital Desk: In yet another sensational incident, a person from Assam was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kolkata, reports emerged on Sunday.
The deceased, identified as Juwed Ali, sources said, who was a resident of Kahikuchi under the jurisdiction of the Khetri Police Station in Kamrup district.
Reportedly, Ali (40) left his house on Monday with the intention of traveling to Chennai in search of employment.
However, sources also stated that his body was found in Palsa, an area near Kolkata's Howrah train station, before he ever made it to his intended destination.
The cause of the unfortunate death of the man is still a mystery so far.
Additionally, Juwed Ali's Assam family has been contacted by the West Bengal Police. The local police found Ali's lifeless body and completed the post-mortem results, but due to financial crisis Ali's family was unable to bring the body home.
According to reports, the family members have also pleaded with the Assam government to assist them in returning the deceased man's body.
