Imphal: A male sweeper working as a daily wager in Imphal’s Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, has landed up in jail after he was allegedly caught filming a female doctor in the bath.
The incident took place in the Covid ward of the hospital premises where the doctor was taking her bath after conducting her duty. The arrested man has been identified as Yengk-hom Pamuyaima of Sekmaijin Mamang Leikai.
The female doctor immediately lodged a complaint to JNIMS director following which the man was caught and handed over to the police.
Condemning the despicable act of the man while healthcare workers are working day and night to combat Covid-19 pandemic, female health workers of JNIMS have demanded stringent punishment of Pamuyaima as per law of the land.
