Digital Desk: Amid Holi celebrations, a horrific incident occurred in Telangana's Medak district. On Tuesday, a man was allegedly set ablaze by another person after he sprinkled colour on the latter. According to police, the victim is being treated in a hospital.

The incident occurred during Holi celebrations in Marpally village of Regode mandal, following an argument between them. The person told the man (victim) not to apply colour to him, but the former smeared colour on him. Enraged, the man allegedly poured petrol on the man and set him on fire.

According to police, the victim suffered severe burn injuries and is being treated at a hospital in Hyderabad. A case was filed, and the accused was taken into custody. Further investigation is underway.
