Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh utilized the microblogging platform X to draw attention to the severe conditions prevailing not only in his state but also in the surrounding areas.
"Not only in my state, my neighboring sister states are also suffering due to Cyclone Remal," Chief Minister Singh posted.

In Mizoram, the toll exceeds 30 fatalities, leaving many families grappling with the aftermath. Similarly, in Manipur, nearly 1.5 lakh families have suffered adverse effects, with four reported casualties and one person still unaccounted for. The ramifications of the cyclone have extended to Meghalaya and Nagaland as well, where numerous individuals are encountering significant challenges.
