Digital Desk: In response to heightened security challenges in Manipur, security forces have escalated their efforts through intensified search operations and area domination across both hill and valley districts. These proactive measures are crucial in securing vulnerable areas and maintaining law and order amidst prevailing conditions.

A significant aspect of these operations includes the establishment of 127 checkpoints, locally referred to as 'Nakas', strategically positioned across various districts. These checkpoints play a pivotal role in monitoring and regulating movement, thereby bolstering the overall security framework of the region.

Ensuring the seamless flow of essential goods remains a top priority, with 93 vehicles on NH-37 and 281 vehicles on NH-2 receiving safe passage under the protection of a robust security convoy. This initiative aims to fulfill the essential needs of the populace while upholding stringent security protocols in sensitive zones.

Moreover, law enforcement agencies have taken firm action, detaining 84 individuals statewide for various violations. This underscores the authorities' unwavering commitment to enforcing regulations and safeguarding public safety.

These concerted efforts underscore the dedication of security forces and law enforcement agencies in Manipur to enhance security measures, regulate movement effectively, and uphold public order during these challenging times. By creating a secure environment and facilitating uninterrupted essential supplies, these initiatives aim to ensure the well-being and stability of residents across the state.
