This yatra comes on the heels of Rahul Gandhi's impactful Kanyakumari to Srinagar Bharat Jodo yatra...

Digital Desk: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is gearing up for his second nationwide journey, the Bharat Nyay Yatra, set to kick off on January 14 and conclude on March 20. The ambitious yatra, spanning 6,200 kilometers from Manipur to Mumbai, was officially announced by AICC general secretary (organization) K C Venugopal on Wednesday.

Building on the experience gained from his first Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Nyay Yatra aims to connect with the youth, women, and marginalized communities across the diverse landscape of India. The journey will predominantly use buses to traverse the East to West leg, covering states such as Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and concluding in Maharashtra.

This yatra comes on the heels of Rahul Gandhi's impactful Kanyakumari to Srinagar Bharat Jodo yatra last year, which he undertook on foot. Timed strategically amidst the Congress' recent setbacks in the three Hindi heartland states and the looming 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the Bharat Nyay Yatra holds significant political importance for the party.

The focus of Gandhi's second yatra is to address pressing issues such as inflation and unemployment, resonating with the concerns of the common citizen as the nation heads into a crucial electoral phase.
