Manu Bhaker's father, Ram Kishan, has decisively put an end to these rumours...

Digital Desk: Recent speculations surrounding the possible marriage between two of India's most celebrated athletes, Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker, have been making waves across media platforms and social media. However, Manu Bhaker's father, Ram Kishan, has decisively put an end to these rumours.

In a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Ram Kishan clarified that marriage is not even a consideration at this point, stressing Manu's young age.

"Manu is still very young. She is not even of marriageable age. We are not thinking about it right now. Manu's mother considers Neeraj like her son," he stated.

The speculations were fuelled by a viral video showing a conversation between Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker's mother, leading fans to conjecture that Manu's mother was encouraging the track and field star to marry her daughter. Another video, featuring Neeraj and Manu in conversation, further spurred these rumours.

On another note, Neeraj Chopra, while addressing the ongoing controversy involving wrestler Vinesh Phogat, expressed his hope for her success. With the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) set to deliver a verdict that could impact her career, Neeraj shared his sentiments with The Hindustan Times. He remarked, "If she gets the medal, it would be very good... I just hope whether she gets the medal or not, people don't forget what she did for the country."

Amid all this, it's clear that Manu Bhaker's family remains focused on her career and not on marriage.
