With only 131 new cases reported today, India has managed to keep the number of coronavirus infections under control for the time being, despite the rapid surge in Covid cases across China and other nations.

Digital Desk: The Indian government has decided to reintroduce a few guidelines to stop the virus's spread in the nation to counteract the surge in COVID cases across multiple nations, including China, the United States, South Korea, and more locations.

Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced several new laws and regulations to stop the spread of Covid in the nation following a review meeting the Union Health Ministry held discussing the COVID-19 surge in other nations.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted to the public following the review meeting, "COVID is not over yet."

The NITI Aayog Covid task group member VK Paul also made a significant comment, recommending people wear masks in crowded places. He added that the rules for international flight travel had not changed as of yet.

Additionally, the Health Minister will likely speak to the media shortly about the Covid incidents in India, and certain travel precautions may be put in place for visitors. It should be mentioned that the country has not yet made masks obligatory.

Meanwhile, all the states were notified on Tuesday evening by Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan to get ready to sequence the genomes of all the positive Covid samples in their regions to find any new variants as soon as possible.

With only 131 new cases reported today, India has managed to keep the number of coronavirus infections under control for the time being, despite the rapid surge in Covid cases across China and other nations. There is now no need to panic, according to the health ministry.
