Digital Desk: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and the surrounding area on Tuesday (January 24, 2023). There is no confirmation of any damages as of now. According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt after a 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal.

Initial reports indicate that the earthquakes hit at around 2:30 p.m.

Reportedly, the earthquakes lasted nearly 10–15 seconds, driving many people to rush out of their homes and offices in panic.

Meanwhile, many took to Twitter to express that they had felt strong tremors.

Last year in November, Delhi, NCR, and some other northern states felt tremors as a 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolted Nepal, 212 kilometers southeast of Joshimath in Uttarakhand.
