  Digital Desk: Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma announced that he had been tested positive for covid-19 on Friday. The Meghalaya CM informed that he has been in isolation and is suffering from moderate symptoms. CM Conrad Sangma tweeted, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am isolating myself for the required time. I have mild symptoms. All those who came into contact with me last few days are requested to observe their symptoms and test if necessary.” CM Conrad Sangma also appeals to those who came in contact with him to get tested for the covid-19. Earlier, on December 20, 2020, the Meghalaya Chief Minister tested positive for covid-19. He had then revealed his condition on Twitter. Notably, on Thursday, the CM Conrad Sangma and his Assam counterpart, Himanta Biswa Sarma, travelled to New Delhi to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the inter-state border issues.
