Recent accomplishments include Threads passing ChatGPT's chatbot powered by generative AI to become the app...

Digital Desk: Elon Musk owned Twitter, and Mark Zuckerberg's Meta is giving a neck-to-neck fight. Recently, links to Twitter's newest Meta-led rival Threads appear to be removed from the search results page. Threads recently surpassed ChatGPT's generative AI-based chatbot to become the app with the fastest downloads of over 100 million.

Andy Baio, a user of the Threads app, first brought the issue to light. While all tweets containing links to Threads.net websites should have been recovered, Baio discovered that searching for the term "url:threads.net" yielded no results.

Similarly, several Twitter users complained that they couldn't find the tweets with the Threads link.

Some users have already discovered a way around Twitter's new restrictions. Users can use the search function on the microblogging platform to seek posts-old with Threads links by typing "URL: Threads net" into the search box.

Reportedly, threads introduced on July 6, 2023, with the goal of being "the public conversation app with 1 billion people on it. As shown through data from web analytics firm Similarweb, Twitter's web traffic has decreased by 11% since the launch of Threads compared to the same period last year."
