The Panbazar Women's Police Station has faced challenges in taking immediate action against the accused, citing a lack of substantial evidence.


Digital Desk: In a distressing incident, two female students reported an alleged case of molestation at Swahid Jadav Nath Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in the city. The accused in question is the college's principal, facing serious allegations from the two victims.


The victims complained to Panbazar All Woman Police Station, leading to the registration of a case under Section 354(A) and 506 no. 9/24. The Women's Police Station has initiated a thorough investigation into the matter to reveal the truth behind the disturbing accusations.


Expressing their concerns, the victims have also requested an inquiry by the Assam Women's Commission to ensure a comprehensive examination of the case. However, the Panbazar Women's Police Station has faced challenges in taking immediate action against the accused, citing a lack of substantial evidence.
