Since 2017 the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has retained the number 1 position in the list of India’s most influential and searched personalities on the internet. But the news of the sad demise of the popular actor Sushant Singh Rajput took the internet into the storm, condolences, objections, and prayers flooded the internet after his death, hence marking the late actor top the list of most searched Indian personality. Coming back to this year’s list, Virat Kohli is at No.2 and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is third on the list.
The year 2021 shook the entire nation after the death of TV actor Sidharth Shukla, the actor died of cardiac arrest. His fans continue to grieve the loss, making him the 4th most searched personality in India.

On this year’s list, superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan got placed at No. 7 on the most searched personality list, after his arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau in October, the star kid generated interest from all corners of the world.
This year took away two young and loved actors. Sidharth Shukla and Kannada movie star Puneeth Rajkumar’s deaths left their fans with many questions unanswered. In their quest to know more, they took over the internet. This made Sidharth Shukla India’s most-searched male celebrity of 2021 and placed Puneeth Rajkumar at No.4 on the list.
On No. 2 is Salman Khan and No 3 was taken by Allu Arjun.
Veteran star Dilip Kumar, who passed away at age 98, came in at No. 5 as his fans took to the Internet to pay a final tribute to the late actor, Mohammed Yusuf Khan.
This February, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to her second son Jeh and soon after took to writing about her experience. This actor turned author with ‘The Pregnancy Bible’, has been the most searched female celebrity of 2021.
Katrina's stars started shining brightly soon after Sooryavanshi’s success, hence bringing Katrina Kaif to the No 2 position.
Priyanka Chopra is on No 3, Alia Bhatti on No 4, and Deepika Bhatt is at No 5 who are among the most searched women celebrities in the country.
