Islamabad: LeT Commander and 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks planner Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi has reportedly been arrested in Pakistan. Lakhvi, operations commander of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, was designated as a global terrorist by the UN under the United Nations Security Council Resolution in 2008 after the Mumbai attacks.

Lakhvi was behind the Mumbai 26/11 attacks in 2008 when 10 heavily-armed Laskhar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan created mayhem in the city, killing 166 people and injuring over 300 others.

The LeT commander was released from detention in April 2015 after spending 6 years in a Pakistani Jail
