Digital Desk: The Mumbai Police were placed on high alert after an unknown caller threatened to attack multiple locations in the city during New Year's celebrations.
The Mumbai Police Control Room received the call on Saturday at almost 6 o'clock in the evening.
The caller allegedly threatened "there would be explosions in Mumbai" before hanging up.
According to a police representative, many checks were made after the call. Still, nothing unusual turned up.
The caller was trying to trace the caller.
